Governance: Empowering the Community to Shape the Future of Picklezone

It was clear, from day one, to evolve Picklezone into a decentralized ecosystem, handing over the reins of the initiative from the development team to the Picklezone community.

Governance is important for Picklezone as it will ensure that the project remains community-driven, transparent, and resilient.

By involving the community in decision-making processes, Picklezone can align its development and operations with the needs and preferences of its users.

The transparency provided by decentralized governance fosters trust and accountability among community members, as all actions and transactions are recorded on a public blockchain.

Moreover, decentralized governance mitigates the risks of censorship or control by external entities, making Picklezone more resistant to external influences. By embracing decentralized governance, Picklezone can create a platform that empowers its community, fosters innovation, and operates fairly and inclusively.

In the next phase, Picklezone will turn into a completely community-owned governance; we aim to do that through our governance token, $PZN.

These tokens are typically used to represent participation rights within the organization and grant holders certain privileges, such as voting power or access to specific features.

Voting Rights

$PZN tokens confer voting rights to token holders, allowing them to participate in the decision-making process. Token holders can vote on proposals, protocol upgrades, resource allocation, or any other matters that require community input.
