Application Design Goals: Paddling For All
Paddling for All: High-Quality, Fun, and Intuitive Design for Every Pickler
The Picklezone app will serve a wide range of audiences, from teenagers to senior citizens, everyone can pick the cherries from the ecosystem we are building. Hence, it was important for the team to follow some specific design goals that can cater to everyone’s expectations.
High-Quality
Most of the applications in Web 3.0 are not rich in visuals, graphics, and gameplay experience because the competition in this ecosystem is fierce and the funds entering the blockchain games are not re-invested into research and development.
However, the Play & Earn branch of the app shall have high production quality built using the next-generation technology stack because we want our users to have first-class gameplay and engagement experience.
Fun Gameplay
Many P2E games are designed with an objective where the users are required to fulfill certain tasks and jobs to get rewarded. However, this design objective often compromises the fun gameplay and this is what we intend to change at Picklezone by injecting our community with the fun-driven and adventurous adrenaline of the Pickleball sport.
Moreover, we shall allow our players to compete in multiple tournaments and championships organized from time to time, so that if they aren’t ranked at the very top, they could still have an opportunity of winning a tournament and earning the tokens.
Intuitive UI
Picklezone is being engineered on top of blockchain technology, however, we understand that not all of our audience is a web 3.0 fanatic. For this purpose, it was important to build a UI that would offer an experience of a regular application with blockchain mechanics still running in the background.
For example, the Picklers on our platform will not have to use the MetaMask to trade the tokens and NFTs, but instead, a custodial native wallet allows transacting tokens and assets as a seamless, built-in feature.
